How does globalisation affect women in different cultures?

I am trying to find out how globalisation affects women in different cultures and whether you personally think this is a good or a bad thing. Thanks

1. Why are you only interested in how it affects women? Globalization affects everybody, and it is way too big a topic for one "good" or "bad" answer. If you are doing this for a class, then drop the class. You will learn nothing except how to simplify something from a sheltered environment and how to be sexist while doing it.
2. At the moment globalisation (covert and not so covert) is responsible for most famines and conflicts around the world so it doesn't seem to be helping women from other cultures all that much.
