What's the difference between globalization and globalisation?
What's the difference between globalization and globalisation? I know they are very similar terms but don't they have different meanings?

- The letter "s"
- Ones the English spelling, the other the American
- They are synonyms - that is, they are spelt differently but have the SAME meaning. Most Americans use the "Z" spelling and Brit's tend to use the "S" spelling.
- As far as I know it's a difference between european and american spelling styles, Americans use "z"s for words ending in "-isation"
- I think one, globalization, is to exploit the world. To take total advantage of ecological resources, like trees and water, just for our own benefit. But the other means to truly unite and help the peoples of the world, and improve their living conditions.
